Purpose 

The purpose of Golden Heart Green is to recognize outstanding businesses and organizations in the Fairbanks North Star Borough who use sustainable waste management practices and to encourage other groups to start. 

This includes a recognizable logo for businesses/organizations to use in their marketing, published lists of accepted businesses/organizations, and periodic outreach activities for participating organizations.
