The purpose of Golden Heart Green is to recognize outstanding businesses and organizations in the Fairbanks North Star Borough who consistently use sustainable waste management practices, and to encourage other groups to start or increase similar programs.
This recognition will include usage rights to a recognizable logo which businesses / organizations may use in their marketing and messaging (print, mail, email / online, vehicle, etc.). Qualified businesses and organizations will also appear in published lists of accepted businesses / organizations, and periodic networking and outreach activities.
